This study is exploring how different diagnostic tests can help us understand how lipid disorders, including high blood cholesterol and high blood triglycerides, affect the body. Information from this study may help improve the way lipid disorders are diagnosed or treated in the future. Participants in this study must be at least 2 years old. The study is being conducted in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you a black man or women who has obesity and lives in Washington D.C.? This study aims to understand the health and health needs of people in predominately black churches in Washington, D.C. This information will help researchers design programs to improve heart health in these communities. To participate in this study, you must be between 19 and 85 years old and attend one of the churches in the study. This study is based in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you an adult who has overweight or obesity and would be interested in a weight-loss study? This study is testing whether a medicine called phentermine is safe and effective for treating obesity over a long period. This study has multiple locations in the United States.

Are you at least 18 years old and have been told by your doctor that you need a procedure called transcatheter aortic valve replacement? This study will test a new device designed specifically for use during a procedure called transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Researchers want to make transcatheter aortic valve replacement safer. To be in the study, you must be at least 18 and need a transcatheter aortic valve replacement. The study will take place in locations in California, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, D.C.
