Do you have high blood pressure, high A1C levels, or have overweight or obesity? Researchers are testing if a program helps increase physical activity for people at risk of cardiovascular disease. Participants will receive remote coaching and wear a physical activity tracker. To join, you must be 40 to 70 years old and can access the internet. The study is taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Is your child black and 8 to 11 years old? This study is testing a way of enhancing sleep in children with the goal of preventing obesity. To participate in this study, your child must be 8 to 11 years old and must be black or African American. This study is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Are you a black man or women who has obesity and lives in Washington D.C.? This study aims to understand the health and health needs of people in predominately black churches in Washington, D.C. This information will help researchers design programs to improve heart health in these communities. To participate in this study, you must be between 19 and 85 years old and attend one of the churches in the study. This study is based in Bethesda, Maryland.

Does your child have overweight or obesity? This study is exploring the link between obesity and sleep deprivation in children. Researchers will test whether participants who do not get enough good quality sleep have trouble making healthy food choices. Participants in this study must be 8 to 12 years old and have overweight or obesity. This study takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Providence, Rhode Island.

Does your child have overweight or obesity or just want to be in a study on sleep and eating habits? Overweight and obesity are common in children who do not get enough good quality sleep. This study aims to understand how sleep deficiency can affect a child’s ability to make good food choices. Researchers will ask participants to spend either 8 or 11 hours in bed and to keep track of their food choices. Participants in this study must be 8 to 12 years old. This study takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Providence, Rhode Island.

Investigators will conduct in-human PET imaging of 18F-fluoroglutamine (18F-FGln) in patients with PAH to compare glutamine uptake to that of controls.

Are you a healthy adult between the ages of 18 and 60? For this study, researchers are testing a new medication to treat a lung injury called pulmonary arterial hypertension. First, researchers will test the medication to see how it affects healthy people. To participate, you must be a healthy adult between the ages of 18 and 60. The study will take place at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

The investigators' central hypothesis is that early combination therapy with two PAH-specific oral therapies that have been shown to be well tolerated in the pediatric population, sildenafil and bosentan, will result in better World Health Organization (WHO) functional class at 12 months after initiation of PAH treatment than therapy with sildenafil alone.
