Are you an adult with both asthma and obesity? This study is testing whether a medicine called L-citrulline can help treat asthma and improve lung function in people who have obesity. Functional CT Assessment of Pulmonary Arterial Dysfunction in Smoking Associated Emphysema

This study will use dual energy x-ray computed tomography (DECT) to evaluate the relationship between heterogeneous perfusion, hypoxia (low oxygen in inspired gas) and induction of pulmonary vascular dilatation to characterize emphysema susceptibility in a normal smoking population.
