Are you a Minnesota resident with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy? This study aims to find out how common it is for people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy to also have sleep apnea. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a disease that causes the heart muscle to thicken. Participants will also wear a heart rhythm monitor to help researchers learn whether sleep apnea is linked to arrhythmia. The study seeks healthy volunteers as well as participants in the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Registry. To participate in this study, you must not have had a catheter ablation procedure to treat atrial fibrillation, had surgery to replace your heart valves, or been treated for sleep apnea. The study is located in Rochester, Minnesota.

Did you develop atrial fibrillation after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery? Did you develop atrial fibrillation after a coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery? This study is looking at how well oral anticoagulation medicines work to prevent complications, such as blood clots and heart attack, for patients who experience post-operative atrial fibrillation (POAF). This study is in multiple locations around the country.

Are you an adult with atrial fibrillation who recently had a catheter ablation procedure? This study will investigate the effectiveness of an implantable cardiac monitor-guided device to monitor participants for recurrent atrial fibrillation following ablation. This study is located in Rochester, New York.

Are you an adult who has had Fontan palliation operation? If so, you may be able to join a clinical trial where researchers learn more about how the heart and lungs work after a Fontan palliation. Researchers will perform a procedure called a cardiac catheterization while participants exercise to see how well the heart is working. Participants must be at least 18 years old. The study is taking place in Rochester, Minnesota.

Do you have heart failure? In this clinical trial, researchers are using images of the heart and blood tests to learn more about Black and Hispanic patients with heart failure. You may be able to participate if you are at least 60 years old; of Black, Hispanic, or Caribbean origin; and have been diagnosed with heart failure. The study is taking place in locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.

This study is trying to improve the hospital-to-home transition for people with heart failure who receive home care services. The study will test an intervention called I-TRANSFER-HF, which differs from usual care by combining early home health nurse visits and outpatient medical appointments.

Are you an adult with mild heart failure and a left bundle branch block? This study will test whether a type of pacemaker called a cardiac resynchronization device can help the heart pump more blood in people who have mild heart failure (HF) and left bundle branch block. In the study, participants will have a cardiac resynchronization device implanted. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Do you want to help find new treatments for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction? This study is testing whether a medicine called spironolactone can help treat heart failure with preserved ejection fraction when paired with the standard treatment. Spironolactone helps to remove excess water and sodium from the body. To participate in this study, you must be between 50 and 99 years old and diagnosed with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

Are you a professional caregiver for an adult who has serious heart failure? This study is testing whether electronic educational resources, in addition to in-person training , help home aids be more knowledgeable and confident in caring for adults who have serious heart failure. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 75 years old, be employed at Visiting Nurse Service of New York's Partners in Care agency, and care for an adult who has heart failure. This study is located in New York, New York.
