Do you have heart disease that requires an ICD to prevent sudden cardiac arrest? This study aims to learn what signs distinguish patients who have a higher risk of an arrhythmia that leads to sudden cardiac arrest. Researchers plan to track patients with a recent ICD replacement for 10 years. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 85 years old. This study is located in Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, Maryland; and Richmond, Virginia.

Do you have overweight? Circadian rhythm disorders can cause overweight and obesity. This study is examining how not getting enough sleep causes these complications. To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 20 and 40 and have overweight but not obesity. This study is located in New York, New York.

Are you a healthy adult who regularly sleeps for 6.5 or fewer hours? This study is examining whether getting enough sleep can lower your risk of high blood pressure. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 65 years old, regularly sleep for 6.5 or fewer hours, and be able to adjust your sleep schedule for the study. This study is located in Rochester, Minnesota.

This study evaluates a sensor-controlled digital game (SCDG) to motivate self-management behaviors of weight monitoring and physical activity in adults with heart failure (HF). Half of the participants will receive the SCDG app and weight monitoring and physical activity sensors and the other half will receive only the weight monitoring and physical activity sensors.

Researchers are testing if walking breaks can improve cardiovascular health, like blood pressure and glucose (sugar) levels. To join, you must be 18 years old and have no long-term health issues or not be taking medications for blood pressure or diabetes. Participants will have to go to the study site for a 9-hour visit and walk on a treadmill during the day. The study is taking place in New York City, New York.

This study assesses cardiovascular injury and cardiac fitness in patients with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) receiving model based personalized chemoradiation. The goal of this study is to learn more about the risk of developing heart disease as a result of chemoradiation treatment for lung cancer. Researchers also want to learn if the risk can be reduced by using a patient's individual risk profile to guide cancer treatment and help protect the heart.

Are you at least 13 weeks pregnant? This study looks at how being less active for most of the day, like sitting a lot and sleeping, affects pregnancy and the mother’s heart health over time. Participants must be 18 to 45 years old and pregnant. They will also wear devices that track their movement and activity.
