The Blood Diseases & Disorders Education Program coordinates the Blood Health Network—a network of public and private organizations. These organizations represent federal, national, and local organizations with a demonstrated interest in blood diseases and disorders and blood safety.
The Network:
- Helps drive outreach efforts to increase awareness of blood diseases and disorders.
- Extends the reach of blood health messages and materials as well as blood safety to people living with blood diseases and disorders, as well as their family members and caregivers.
- Increases understanding and awareness of NHLBI blood science research, as well as clinical trials.
