This study is recruiting people with heart failure and people with normal heart function to explore the role of the gut microbiome in heart and blood vessel function. Participants in this study must be at least 18 years old and willing to provide blood and stool samples. This study takes place in Gainesville, Florida.

Are you an adult planning to get a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implant to treat heart failure? If so, you may be able to take part in a clinical trial about heart failure. Researchers are testing whether a dietary supplement can improve heart function for people with advanced heart failure. To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and be scheduled for elective LVAD implantation. The study is taking place in Seattle, Washington.

Are you an adult diagnosed with heart failure? Investigators are interested in better understanding right ventricular (RV) heart failure with reduced ejection fraction-related pulmonary hypertension. The study aims to improve diagnosis and description of RV heart failure. You may be able to participate if you are between 18 and 90 years old.

Do you want to help find new treatments for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction? This study is testing whether a medicine called spironolactone can help treat heart failure with preserved ejection fraction when paired with the standard treatment. Spironolactone helps to remove excess water and sodium from the body. To participate in this study, you must be between 50 and 99 years old and diagnosed with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

Are you at least 21 years old and have heart failure? In this clinical trial, researchers want to understand why patients with heart failure have trouble exercising and doing some of their daily activities. To take part, you must be taking medication to treat your heart failure for at least 30 days. People without heart failure can also join the study. Participants will have images (MRI) taken as part of the study. The study is taking place in Baltimore, Maryland.

Do you have heart failure and live near Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts? Researchers are testing whether an online program helps lower the number of times patients with heart failure return to the hospital. You may be able to participate if you are at least 18 years old, have heart failure, and live within 30 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Do you have a child with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS)? This study is assessing the safety and efficacy of Lomecel-B™ in treating HLHS. Lomecel-B contains human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), special cells in the body that are able to change into other types of cells, such as heart, blood, and muscle cells. Lomecel-B uses MSCs from bone marrow of unrelated young healthy donors. These are called "allogeneic", and do not require donor matching to the patient. To participate in the trial, the child must be less than 1 year old and require stage II palliation for all types of HLHS. This study is in multiple locations. Participants will be randomized to receive either an injection of Lomecel-B in the heart or no injection during their Stage II operation. They will be monitored for safety and one year later, heart function will be measured using cardiac MRI, echocardiogram, blood studies, growth, and scales of quality of life and heart failure.

Do you have heart failure that is well controlled through medication and attending regular appointments with your healthcare provider? This clinical trial is testing a dietary supplement taken by mouth twice a day for five days to see if it can help patients with heart failure. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. The study is taking place in New Haven, Connecticut.
