This registry seeks to collect information from patients who have Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA), in order to help researchers and doctors learn more about the condition. The registry will also help connect patients with DBA to research and clinical studies, and possible treatment options. The registry accepts all patients diagnosed with DBA.

Do you have overweight? Circadian rhythm disorders can cause overweight and obesity. This study is examining how not getting enough sleep causes these complications. To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 20 and 40 and have overweight but not obesity. This study is located in New York, New York.

Are you an adult who has sickle cell disease and wheezing not caused by asthma? This study will test an inhaled medicine called mometasone for people who have sickle cell disease and wheezing that is not caused by asthma. Do you or your child have a platelet, bleeding, or white blood cell disorder? This study is looking at people who have platelet or other blood disorders. The researchers will use a blood sample to look for problems with platelets and a possible genetic cause in the participant’s DNA or RNA. To participate in this study, you must be a child or adult who either is healthy or has a platelet disorder, coagulation disorder, or white blood cell disorder. Do you have depression symptoms and have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease? This study aims to find out whether an online tool can help improve symptoms of depression in people who have coronary heart disease and encourage them to start treatment for depression. To participate in this study, you must be at least 21 years old and have symptoms of depression and a history of coronary heart disease. This study is located in New York, New York.

Do you or a loved one have pneumonia? This study will test whether combining two medicines to reduce inflammation of the airway and to keep it open may help prevent respiratory failure in people who have pneumonia. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have severe pneumonia with low blood oxygen levels.

Do you want to get better at taking your blood pressure medicine? This study will test a program aimed at helping motivate people to take their blood pressure medicine. Each day, participants who took their medicine will be eligible to win a prize through a smartphone app that tracks whether they are taking their medicine. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have an active prescription for high blood pressure medication. This study is located in New York, New York.

Do you want to help find new treatments for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction? This study is testing whether a medicine called spironolactone can help treat heart failure with preserved ejection fraction when paired with the standard treatment. Spironolactone helps to remove excess water and sodium from the body. To participate in this study, you must be between 50 and 99 years old and diagnosed with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

Are you a professional caregiver for an adult who has serious heart failure? This study is testing whether electronic educational resources, in addition to in-person training , help home aids be more knowledgeable and confident in caring for adults who have serious heart failure. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 75 years old, be employed at Visiting Nurse Service of New York's Partners in Care agency, and care for an adult who has heart failure. Do you have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or have experienced a psychosocial trauma, or want to help research? This study uses positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) to look at the relationship between psychosocial stress and systemic inflammation/atherosclerosis.
