The study will help researchers learn the best methods for collecting, storing, and using cord blood in transplants. To participate in this study, you must have a disorder that compromises your body’s ability to make blood cells. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Have you been diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy and are within 5 months of your due date? This study is evaluating the effectiveness of a medicine called bromocriptine to treat peripartum cardiomyopathy, or weakness of the heart muscle that occurs during or shortly after pregnancy. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old, diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy, and within 5 months of your delivery date. This study takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Are you an adult woman who would like to help develop methods to prevent the worsening of LAM? This study aims to discover whether earlier and longer treatment with a lower dose of sirolimus can help prevent LAM from getting worse over time. To participate in this study, you must be female, be at least 18 years old, and have been diagnosed with LAM. Are you an adult with B-cell blood cancer who has had at least two treatments fail? This study investigates a new drug (NX-2127) that may be used to treat certain B-cell blood cancers including leukemia and lymphoma. NX-2127 is taken by mouth and works by blocking a specific protein in cancer tumor cells called Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK). This study is located at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Do you have symptoms of a lung disease (such as long-term wet cough, bronchiectasis, or recurrent pneumonia) with no genetic diagnosis? This study aims to develop new ways to diagnose primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) or primary immune deficiency (PID), two conditions that can have similar symptoms. Researchers will combine information from genetic testing, lung imaging, and lung function tests to diagnose and tell the difference between these two conditions. Participants in this study must be 5 to 45 years old and must have symptoms of a serious lung disease but no diagnosis. This study is taking place at multiple locations in the United States and in Canada, including the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you an adult with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and currently taking vasodilators? This study is testing the efficacy of a new medicine called famotidine for people with PAH. Participants in this study must be between 18 and 80 years old and willing to take famotidine or a placebo for 6 months. This study takes place in Seattle, Washington.

This study is evaluating the use of video telehealthcare to help adolescents and young adults with asthma take their medication correctly and on time. Are you an adult diagnosed with cystic fibrosis who would like to help test web-based educational resources designed to inform and prepare patients to make decisions about lung transplantation? This study will determine if it is feasible for study participants to complete use of an assigned web-based educational program, and evaluate whether providing certain educational resources leaves participants more prepared to make future treatment decisions involving lung transplantation with their health care provider(s).
