Are you an adult female with LAM? If so, you may be able to participate in this clinical study where researchers are observing patients who are taking or have taken a certain kind of medication, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), to treat lymphangioleiomyomatosis, also known as LAM. You must be at least 18 years old to take part. The study is taking place at locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

This trial will compare time from randomization to failure of treatment or death from any cause of IST versus URD BMT when used as initial therapy to treat Severe Aplastic Anemia.

Do you have chronic kidney disease and mild heart failure? Researchers are testing a medication to see if it helps heart and lung function when it is added to your current medication. To take part in this clinical trial, you must be 18 to 85 years old, have chronic kidney disease and are taking diuretics or other medication, and have mild heart failure. The study is taking place in Chicago, Illinois.

The purpose of this study is to develop and optimize a targeted behavioral intervention for sleep disturbance among individuals who have recently lost a spouse/long-term cohabitating partner.

Are you an adult with atrial fibrillation? In this study, researchers are comparing a continuous direct oral anticoagulation (DOAC) use versus time-limited (1 month) DOAC guided by an AF-sensing Smart Watch (AFSW) for persons with atrial fibrillation and a moderate risk of stroke. Participants must be between the ages of 22 and 85 and have a history of atrial fibrillation. Have you or your child been diagnosed with a blood disorder? If so, you (or they) may be able to participate in a clinical study where researchers are studying a type of infusion using cord blood. Participants can be of any age but must have a blood disorder diagnosed by their doctor. The study is taking place in locations in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Do you or your child have sickle cell disease and also have an interest in contributing to long-term data collection? This study is monitoring patients and collecting biological samples from patients who have sickle cell disease to better understand long-term outcomes. Participants can be any age and must have sickle cell disease. This study is located in six sites in Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Are you an adult with a diagnosed sleep phase disorder? This study aims to assess the sleep patterns and quality of sleep in people who have sleep phase disorders to determine how the disorders affect their circadian rhythms. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a sleep phase disorder, such as advanced sleep-wake phase syndrome or delayed sleep-wake phase syndrome. This study is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Are you between 40 and 85 with worsening idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis? This study aims to test a new combination treatment for acute exacerbations, a life-threatening complication of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) that has no approved treatment. The treatment is meant to help stop part of the immune system from further injuring the lung tissue. To participate in this study, you must be between 40 and 85 years old and have worsening IPF. This study is located in Birmingham, Alabama; Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Are you an adult interested in comparing effects of different exercise training on blood pressure? This study aims to compare how different types of exercise can affect blood pressure in African Americans. Participants will do either aerobic activities, focusing on raising their heart rate, or muscle-strengthening resistance activities, focusing on weights, for 24 to 26 weeks. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 50 years old, have a sedentary lifestyle and elevated blood pressure, and have been born in the United States to either two African American or two non-Hispanic Caucasian parents. This study is located in Chicago, Illinois.
