DIVA is a pragmatic randomized clinical trial (RCT) to determine: among (P) preterm infants born 24-27 6/7 weeks gestation undergoing extubation from mechanical ventilation, whether (I) Non-invasive neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NIV-NAVA) (C) compared with Non-synchronized nasal intermittent positive pressure ventilation (NS-NIPPV), will reduce the incidence of (O) extubation failure within (T) 5 days (120 hours) of extubation.

The overall objective of research is to test, adapt, refine and validate the HEMOTAG® system to be used outside the usual medical care environments to reduce hospital readmissions.

Are you an adult female with LAM? If so, you may be able to participate in this clinical study where researchers are observing patients who are taking or have taken a certain kind of medication, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), to treat lymphangioleiomyomatosis, also known as LAM. You must be at least 18 years old to take part. Does your child have asthma? If so, they may be eligible to participate in a study about whether using a smartphone application can improve asthma management. To participate, your child must be between the age of 12 and 18 and have an iPhone or Android device on which an app can be installed. The study is taking place at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, and participants are expected to remain in the Tampa Bay area for the duration of the study.

This trial will compare time from randomization to failure of treatment or death from any cause of IST versus URD BMT when used as initial therapy to treat Severe Aplastic Anemia.

In this study, researchers are comparing a continuous direct oral anticoagulation (DOAC) use versus time-limited (1 month) DOAC guided by an AF-sensing Smart Watch (AFSW) for persons with atrial fibrillation and a moderate risk of stroke. Participants must be between the ages of 22 and 85 and have a history of atrial fibrillation. Do you have a Type B aortic dissection? Do you have a Type B aortic dissection? This study will compare a surgical procedure (TEVAR) followed by medical therapy to a more traditional approach using medical therapy with surveillance to determine if TEVAR can reduce complications. The TEVAR procedure is minimally-invasive. You may be able to participate if you are 18 years old or older. This study is recruiting in multiple locations.

Is your child between 3 months and 18 years old and diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension? Is your child between 3 months and 18 years old and diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension? Researchers are trying to learn if combining two medications for pulmonary hypertension works better than just one. To be in the study, your child must not be receiving long-term treatments for pulmonary hypertension.
