Are you scheduled for a stem cell transplant with cord blood?
This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of certain cord blood transplants. The study will help researchers learn the best methods for collecting, storing, and using cord blood in transplants. Are you an adult who has granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA)?
This study is testing whether prednisone affects flares for people who have GPA, a type of vasculitis, that is in remission. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have GPA that was active within the last year but is currently in remission.

Therapeutics for Inpatients With COVID-19 (TICO)
This study will investigate the safety and effectiveness of different medicines, such as remdesivir, in treating people who have been hospitalized for COVID-19. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old, be hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment, and have had symptoms for less than 12 days. Are you an adult who has been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)? This study will examine whether adding N-acetylcysteine (NAC) to standard treatment improves key indicators of IPF, including symptoms, in people with the TOLLIP rs3750920 TT genotype who are living with the disease. Are you 15 to 40 years old and have severe sickle cell disease?
This study is comparing long-term outcomes for patients who receive blood and bone marrow transplants and those who receive standard treatment with medicines. Is your newborn in the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Louis Children’s Hospital?
This study aims to better understand breathing problems and blood flow through the heart in premature newborns to better detect conditions such as pulmonary hypertension. To participate in this study, your newborn must have been born prematurely between 24 and 29 weeks’ gestation and be a patient in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
