Do you or your child have pulmonary hypertension and want to help research? This study is looking to better understand pulmonary hypertension in children who have this condition. To participate in this study, you or your child must be 21 years old or younger and must have been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension before the age of 18. This study is located at multiple sites across the United States and Canada, including California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Alberta, Canada.

Are you scheduled for a stem cell transplant with cord blood? This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of certain cord blood transplants. The study will help researchers learn the best methods for collecting, storing, and using cord blood in transplants. To participate in this study, you must have a disorder that compromises your body’s ability to make blood cells. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you an adult woman who would like to help develop methods to prevent the worsening of LAM? This study aims to discover whether earlier and longer treatment with a lower dose of sirolimus can help prevent LAM from getting worse over time. To participate in this study, you must be female, be at least 18 years old, and have been diagnosed with LAM. Did you develop atrial fibrillation after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery? Did you develop atrial fibrillation after a coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery? This study is looking at how well oral anticoagulation medicines work to prevent complications, such as blood clots and heart attack, for patients who experience post-operative atrial fibrillation (POAF). This study is in multiple locations around the country.

Do you have asthma and obesity and live near Aurora, Colorado? Obesity can lead to widespread inflammation that may make asthma worse. This study will test whether a medicine called CXA-10 reduces inflammation in the airways and body and improves asthma symptoms in people who have obesity. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 65 years old, have a BMI of 30 or greater, and have been on long-acting controller medicine—such as inhaled corticosteroids or long-acting beta2-agonists—for at least three months. Therapeutics for Inpatients With COVID-19 (TICO) This study will investigate the safety and effectiveness of different medicines, such as remdesivir, in treating people who have been hospitalized for COVID-19. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old, be hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment, and have had symptoms for less than 12 days. Are you an adult with B-cell blood cancer who has had at least two treatments fail? This study investigates a new drug (NX-2127) that may be used to treat certain B-cell blood cancers including leukemia and lymphoma. NX-2127 is taken by mouth and works by blocking a specific protein in cancer tumor cells called Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK). This study is located at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Do you have symptoms of a lung disease (such as long-term wet cough, bronchiectasis, or recurrent pneumonia) with no genetic diagnosis? This study aims to develop new ways to diagnose primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) or primary immune deficiency (PID), two conditions that can have similar symptoms. Researchers will combine information from genetic testing, lung imaging, and lung function tests to diagnose and tell the difference between these two conditions. Participants in this study must be 5 to 45 years old and must have symptoms of a serious lung disease but no diagnosis. This study is taking place at multiple locations in the United States and in Canada, including the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Have you been diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy and are within 5 months of your due date? This study is evaluating the effectiveness of a medicine called bromocriptine to treat peripartum cardiomyopathy, or weakness of the heart muscle that occurs during or shortly after pregnancy. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old, diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy, and within 5 months of your delivery date. This study takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
