Were you diagnosed with heart failure within the past 6 months? In this clinical trial, researchers are studying whether a medication given through an IV can improve exercise capacity for patients with heart failure. Participants will have other tests and blood work to see how the heart and lungs react to the medication. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. Have you received treatment from a doctor for COPD that has gotten worse and have you been referred for pulmonary rehabilitation, which can help ease the symptoms of COPD.? In this study, researchers are comparing two ways to encourage people to participate in pulmonary rehabilitation. Participants must be at least 40 years old and be willing to participate in calls with a peer coach and view videos. The study is taking place in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Have you been diagnosed with carotid artery stenosis? If you are over the age of 18 and have had an image scan for a diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis, you may be able to participate in this study. Researchers are trying to learn more about the ability of positron emission tomography (PET) scans to identify people with carotid artery stenosis who have no symptoms but who may be at risk of having a stroke. Are you an adult with diagnosed atherosclerosis? If so, you may be able to participate in a clinical trial where researchers are trying to learn if a statin, which is used to treat atherosclerosis by lowering cholesterol works better when it is combined with another medication, colchicine, by targeting inflammation. This study is a two-part, prospective non-controlled, non-randomized Phase I/II clinical trial to assess the safety, feasibility and efficacy of cellular gene therapy in patients with chronic granulomatous disease using transplantation of autologous bone marrow CD34+ cells transduced ex vivo by the G1XCGD lentiviral vector containing the human CGD gene.
