Are you scheduled for cardiac bypass surgery? Cardiac surgery is effective for improving the health of patients with cardiovascular disease, but many patients experience complications. In this clinical trial, researchers are collecting data to learn how different types of bypasses affect patients. You must be 50 to 70 years old to participate and be scheduled for elective cardiac surgery. The study is taking place in Aurora, Colorado.

Are you an adult female with LAM? If so, you may be able to participate in this clinical study where researchers are observing patients who are taking or have taken a certain kind of medication, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), to treat lymphangioleiomyomatosis, also known as LAM. You must be at least 18 years old to take part. Are you at least 18 years old and have been told by your doctor that you need a procedure called transcatheter aortic valve replacement? This study will test a new device designed specifically for use during a procedure called transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Researchers want to make transcatheter aortic valve replacement safer. To be in the study, you must be at least 18 and need a transcatheter aortic valve replacement. The study will take place in locations in California, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, D.C.

This project will determine the health impact of parenthood on people with cystic fibrosis (CF). The study team will use retrospective data to provide relatively immediate evidence on parenthood's effect on pulmonary health.

Are you an adult with atrial fibrillation? In this study, researchers are comparing a continuous direct oral anticoagulation (DOAC) use versus time-limited (1 month) DOAC guided by an AF-sensing Smart Watch (AFSW) for persons with atrial fibrillation and a moderate risk of stroke. Participants must be between the ages of 22 and 85 and have a history of atrial fibrillation. Have you recently been released from state prison into the Denver/Aurora Colorado metro area? For this study, researchers are studying how people released from prison access healthcare services. The researchers will also see how many participants are hospitalized for heart issues. Study participants must be 18 years old, have recently been released from prison, and have no plans to leave the area within the next 6 months. The study is taking place in Aurora, Colorado.
