Are you an adult female with LAM? If so, you may be able to participate in this clinical study where researchers are observing patients who are taking or have taken a certain kind of medication, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), to treat lymphangioleiomyomatosis, also known as LAM. You must be at least 18 years old to take part. The study is taking place at locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

Do you or someone in your family have a lymphatic disorder such as LAM? This study is looking at the relationship between lymphatic disorders and gene variations found in the lungs, blood, and other parts of the body. Researchers hope this will improve our understanding of these types of disorders and how genetic factors affect them. Participants must be between 2 and 90 years old and either have a lymphatic disorder or be a relative of someone who does. This study is located at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you a healthy adult who wants to join a study about less sitting? You might qualify for this research. Researchers are testing if walking breaks can improve cardiovascular health, like blood pressure and glucose (sugar) levels. To join, you must be 18 years old and have no long-term health issues or not be taking medications for blood pressure or diabetes. Do you have high blood pressure? In this clinical trial, researchers are studying different ways to improve home blood pressure monitoring. You may be able to participate if you are between 18 and 85 years old and diagnosed with high blood pressure. Participants will work closely with clinicians or other healthcare providers to schedule appointments, coordinate care, measure blood pressure, answer your questions, and treat your high blood pressure. Have you been diagnosed with orthostatic intolerance? This study aims to find out how the body’s regulation of basic functions, such as heart rate and blood pressure, is altered in people who have orthostatic intolerance. This condition, which has an unknown cause, is characterized by a racing heartbeat, dizziness, lightheadedness, and other symptoms that occur when a person stands up. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 80 years old and have orthostatic intolerance. This study is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
