Do you want to take part in a supervised exercise program and help science? This study will see how aerobic and resistance exercise affect blood pressure. In the study you will take part in one of these exercise programs for two months. You will be supervised by a physical therapist or an exercise physiologist during the exercises. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 55 years old, and not be taking medicine for high blood pressure. This study is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Do you need a liver transplant and have high blood pressure? This study is exploring medicine to reduce blood pressure in people who receive a liver transplant. Researchers are testing the effectiveness of amlodipine besylate and chlorthalidone, two different medicines that reduce blood pressure. To participate in this study, you must be 18 years old or older and at least 3 months away from receiving a liver transplant. This study takes place in Chicago, Illinois.
