Are you an adult who has kidney cancer? This study will test how a new genetic therapy approach works for patients who have kidney cancer. A patient’s white blood cells will be modified in the laboratory using genetic therapies. Patients will receive different doses of their own, modified white blood cells. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 70 years old and have a diagnosis of progressive renal cell carcinoma. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Do you or a child you know have lymphoma? This study is testing a genetic therapy to prevent lymphoma from recurring. Participants in this study must be at least 3 years old and at high risk for recurrent lymphoma as determined by your doctor. This study is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Do you have a heart or blood vessel disease, such as peripheral artery disease? This study aims to collect data and samples from people who have a heart or blood vessel disease. This may include blood tests, ultrasound exams, and heart and lung tests. Family members and healthy people may also participate. The results may help researchers better understand PAD and other heart and blood vessel diseases. Participants must be at least 2 years old. Women who are pregnant may not take part in some study activities. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Do you or a first-degree relative have a condition that raises the risk of heart disease? This study aims to test the heart and lung function of people who have a genetic or metabolic disease that raises their risk of heart disease. Participants in this study must be between 2 and 100 years old. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you an adult who has PAD and difficulty walking? This study is testing whether a medicine that helps the body make more white blood cells can, along with walking exercise, improve symptoms and blood flow in people who have PAD. To participate in this study, you must be between 21 and 80 years old and have PAD. Women must not be pregnant and must use birth control or have been surgically sterilized if they still have menstrual periods. This study is located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Are you an adult who has PAD and overweight or obesity? This study aims to learn whether participating in an exercise program with a weight loss program reduces PAD signs and symptoms more than an exercise program alone. To participate, you must be between 18 and 85 years old, have PAD, and have a body mass index (BMI) greater than 28 but less than 45. Participants must also be willing to use a smartphone and attend weekly study sessions. This study is located in Evanston, Illinois; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Are you an adult with sickle cell disease or would like to help research? Some people who have sickle cell disease are at greater risk for developing abnormal blood clots (venous thromboembolism). This could be a blood clot in the leg (called deep vein thrombosis) or a clot that can break off and travel to the lung (called a pulmonary embolism). This study will look at the blood of people who have sickle cell disease and venous thromboembolism, as well as healthy volunteers, to help researchers develop better treatments to prevent blood clots. Participants in this study must be between 18 and 80 years old and be either a healthy volunteer or have sickle cell disease or trait. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you an adult willing to give blood samples? This study investigates ways to prevent blood clotting in people with sickle cell disease. In this population, blood clotting is the most common cause of vascular death after heart attack and stroke. Scientists are studying the blood of people with sickle cell disease and comparing it with the blood of people without sickle cell disease over 2 years. To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 18 and 80 years old and willing to participate for up to 2 years. This study takes place in Bethesda, Maryland.

This study is testing whether a new imaging technique can help healthcare providers diagnose venous thromboembolism. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and diagnosed with venous thromboembolism. This study takes place in Boston, Massachusetts.
