Are you an adult with heart failure and right bundle branch block (RBBB)? This study will evaluate the effectiveness and benefit of His-bundle-pacing enhanced cardiac resynchronization therapy (His-CRT) versus cardiac resynchronization therapy (BiV-CRT). Are you an adult interested in comparing effects of different exercise training on blood pressure?
This study aims to compare how different types of exercise can affect blood pressure in African Americans. Participants will do either aerobic activities, focusing on raising their heart rate, or muscle-strengthening resistance activities, focusing on weights, for 24 to 26 weeks. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 50 years old, have a sedentary lifestyle and elevated blood pressure, and have been born in the United States to either two African American or two non-Hispanic Caucasian parents. This study is located in Chicago, Illinois.
