Are you scheduled for a stem cell transplant with cord blood? This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of certain cord blood transplants. The study will help researchers learn the best methods for collecting, storing, and using cord blood in transplants. To participate in this study, you must have a disorder that compromises your body’s ability to make blood cells. This study is located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Are you an adult with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and currently taking vasodilators? This study is testing the efficacy of a new medicine called famotidine for people with PAH. Participants in this study must be between 18 and 80 years old and willing to take famotidine or a placebo for 6 months. This study takes place in Seattle, Washington.

Do you have pulmonary hypertension, and are you willing to try a new medicine to treat right-side heart failure? This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a medicine called famotidine to treat right-side heart failure in people who have pulmonary hypertension.
