Do you have high blood pressure? If so, you may be able to participate in a clinical research study. Researchers are testing a home-based blood pressure monitoring program that provides health education, guidance, monitoring, and patient coaching to people who live in rural areas. You must be at least 18 years old to participate and be taking medication for high blood pressure. The study is taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Do you have high blood pressure, high A1C levels, or have overweight or obesity? Researchers are testing if a program helps increase physical activity for people at risk of cardiovascular disease. Participants will receive remote coaching and wear a physical activity tracker. To join, you must be 40 to 70 years old and can access the internet. The overall goal of this study is to use state-of-the-art monitors to objectively measure the 24-hour behavioral cycle in each trimester of pregnancy, and to examine associations of these behaviors with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and other adverse pregnancy outcomes linked with future cardiovascular disease risk.

Are you interested in participating in a clinical trial on heart health? In this trial, researchers are testing ways to help lower blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular disease as people age. To participate, you must be 65 to 80 years old, and you must not have high blood pressure or take medication for high blood pressure. The study is taking place in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

This study will examine how your genes and health behaviors and where you live and work contribute to your risk of heart disease. To participate you must be between 21 and 65 years old. Do you have high blood pressure, and do you receive care at a community-based clinic in the South? This study will explore an intensive high blood pressure management approach at participating community-based clinics. The approach aims to lower participants’ systolic blood pressure to 120 mm Hg. To participate in this study, you must be at least 40 years old, understand English, and not be pregnant. The study is located in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi.

Are you an adult with high blood pressure who receives medical care from a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)? This study is testing intervention strategies to help people from underserved communities lower their blood pressure and prevent cardiovascular disease. To participate in this study, you must be 40 years old or older and have high blood pressure that puts you at risk for cardiovascular diseases such as stroke or heart failure. This study takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Biloxi, Mississippi.
