Have you been diagnosed with carotid artery stenosis? If you are over the age of 18 and have had an image scan for a diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis, you may be able to participate in this study. Researchers are trying to learn more about the ability of positron emission tomography (PET) scans to identify people with carotid artery stenosis who have no symptoms but who may be at risk of having a stroke. The study is taking place in Boston, Massachusetts.

Have you had a baby within the past month? If so, you may be able to participate in this clinical trial where researchers are testing out a home visitation program for women who have recently given birth. Participants in the study will be visited by trained nurses who will help with soothing, feeding, sleep, and physical activity. To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and have reliable access to the internet. Mother and infant must also be enrolled in the Nurse Family Partnership program. Are you an adult with diagnosed atherosclerosis? If so, you may be able to participate in a clinical trial where researchers are trying to learn if a statin, which is used to treat atherosclerosis by lowering cholesterol works better when it is combined with another medication, colchicine, by targeting inflammation. Have you recently been released from state prison into the Denver/Aurora Colorado metro area? For this study, researchers are studying how people released from prison access healthcare services. The researchers will also see how many participants are hospitalized for heart issues. Do you have endometriosis? Researchers in this clinical trial are studying the effect of therapy that lowers estrogen levels on the risk of cardiovascular disease among women with endometriosis. Have you ever had a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), which is a procedure used to open clogged coronary arteries? Researchers in this clinical trial are studying the genes of people who have had PCI to learn the best way to prescribe medication after the procedure. Participants must be 18 and must have had PCI and received antiplatelet therapy, like aspirin, following the procedure. The trial is taking place in Gainesville, Florida.

Do you have coronary heart disease or are you healthy and would like to participate in research? This study is comparing how well two types of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners can detect different types of heart diseases, such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, congenital heart disease, and heart valve disease. The new type of MRI scanner in this study uses less energy than a traditional scanner and may be suitable for people who have metal devices in their bodies. Do you want to help improve heart imaging techniques? This study aims to improve magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) methods to detect coronary heart disease. Healthy people and people who have coronary heart disease will have MRI scans while resting and after taking a medicine that temporarily makes your heart work harder. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and either healthy or diagnosed with coronary heart disease. The study is taking place in Los Angeles, California.
