This study will evaluate the effectiveness and benefit of His-bundle-pacing enhanced cardiac resynchronization therapy (His-CRT) versus cardiac resynchronization therapy (BiV-CRT). Are you a female between 18 and 55 years old who has postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS)? This study is looking at the sympathetic nervous system and its effect on the increased heart rate and dizziness upon standing that people with POTS experience. This study is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Are you an adult with postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS)? This study is investigating whether an antibody-mediated autoimmune reaction lead to the dizziness and other symptoms of POTS. The study will also test whether vagal stimulation improves POTS symptoms. This study takes place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Are you an adult with cardiomyopathy who is eligible for a left ventricular assist device (LVAD)? This study is investigating whether a ventricular arrhythmia (VTA) ablation at the same time that an LVAD is implanted lowers the risk of VTA after surgery. This study is located in Rochester, New York.

Are you at least 12 weeks pregnant? This study is recruiting women with healthy pregnancies and women who have experienced an abnormal fetal heart rate or rhythm. This study is looking to determine if patients with persistent AF with controlled hypertension or without hypertension who are referred for catheter ablation (PVI) and undergo adjunctive RDN have reduced AF burden at 12 months in comparison to patients who undergo only PVI

Are you an adult with atrial fibrillation? In this study, researchers are comparing a continuous direct oral anticoagulation (DOAC) use versus time-limited (1 month) DOAC guided by an AF-sensing Smart Watch (AFSW) for persons with atrial fibrillation and a moderate risk of stroke. Participants must be between the ages of 22 and 85 and have a history of atrial fibrillation. The study is taking place at locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Washington, D.C.

Are you at least 18 years old and have scheduled elective valve surgery? You may be able to participate in a study where researchers are investigating whether a type of gene therapy can help prevent a form of atrial fibrillation that occurs after surgery. The study is taking place in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Are you an adult who does not have high blood pressure and is interested in research? This study will investigate how the brain regulates the body’s response to stress and how infection with HIV or pre-hypertension affects regulation. Your heart and brain activity will be measured while you are at rest, during a mentally stressful task, and while you feel angry. The study will also test whether a breathing exercise improves regulation. People with and without HIV and pre-hypertension will be included. To participate in this study, you must be between 21 and 65 years old and not have high blood pressure. This study is located in Miami, Florida.
