Neighborhood Centers Culture Fest and We Can!/ Tab Ramos Event
DATE: October 17, 2009
DETAILS: We Can! community site, Neighborhood Centers, Inc. in Houston, will host their annual Culture Fest on Saturday, October 17, 2009. This year Tab Ramos, on behalf of the SUBWAY/ We Can! partnership, will participate in the event. Tab will speak to the predominately Hispanic audience on the importance of nutrition, physical activity, and reduced screen time. In addition, he will show off his Olympic skills at activity stations throughout the event. Bring your family and enjoy live entertainment, free balloon sculptures and face painting, and more. Parent/ Child We Can! Classes
DATE: October - November (dates vary by location)
DETAILS: We Can! Healthy Berrien will offer parent/ child We Can! classes this fall in three Michigan locations: St. Joseph, Niles, and Berrien Springs. The classes will run for six weeks, and each 90 minute class will combine education and active participation.
