We had a group of 16 hardworking and dedicated community sites who did a great job implementing We Can! programming, recruiting participants using various promotional tactics, and engaging community partners to help spread the word.

During a meeting with their county executive and health officer, We Promote Health, a nonprofit organization, realized there was a need in their hometown of Ellicott City, Maryland, for a program where parents and children could learn about maintaining healthy lifestyles together. In their search for programming, this Intensive community site found We Can!.

Family, Fun and Healthy Living, the Community Hospital Anderson Way

Family, fun, and learning about healthy living can all happen at once, and Community Hospital Anderson's (CHA) We Can! programming has been proving that since 2008. The community site located in Indiana hosts its We Can! activities throughout the year. This site's successful recruitment and retention efforts is due to its unique programming, incentives, and publicity efforts.
