Outreach Toolkit

Here you will find information about heart disease, the importance of social support for reaching heart health goals, educational materials to use in your community, social media resources, and more.

#OurHearts is a national effort to encourage and motivate people to adopt heart-healthy behaviors, together. Research shows having social support and personal networks makes getting regular physical activity, eating healthy, losing weight, and quitting smoking easier. Check out our interactive map to see how others around the country are being heart healthy.

National Wear Red Day®

National Wear Red Day® is celebrated the first Friday of February. Wear red and encourage others to do the same to bring awareness that heart disease is a leading cause of death in the U.S., and that it's largely preventable.
