This workshop will bring together clinicians and researchers to explore the challenges and to collaborate on opportunities toward developing a freely accessible knowledge base and map of the human lymphatic system. We will emphasize the relevance of the fundamental understanding of lymphatic system structure and function, and its coordination and interactions with other body tissues and organs, for advancing the clinical management of lymphatic dysfunction and diseases. The participants will begin working to integrate and build knowledge about the lymphatic system across expertise domains and body scales, from the anatomical level all the way to individual cell types and their molecular signatures.
