Description
In this 1-hour virtual seminar, Andrew Odegaard, M.P.H., Ph.D. will present research from the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) that describes longitudinal patterns of adiposity and body composition in postmenopausal women that inform fundamental hypotheses about the relationship between adipose tissue and cardiometabolic health during this life stage. He also will share findings about the relation of upstream factors (reproductive history) and influences (dietary intake patterns, physical activity, sleep) on body composition in the postmenopausal period.
