Getting to Know #OurHearts

Virtual at 12:00 p.m. ET

Description

Join us Friday, February 17 to get heart smart!

Be smart when it comes to your heart. Improving heart health literacy can help us make healthy lifestyle choices that keep #OurHearts healthy.

Join experts from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s (NHLBI) The Heart Truth® program and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Million Hearts® initiative for a dialogue about what Americans should know to keep their hearts healthy. They’ll help you improve your own heart-health literacy by discussing what causes heart disease, what to know about your own individual risk factors, how you can prevent it, and what questions you should be asking your healthcare providers.

Following the discussion, you’ll learn about resources available from The Heart Truth that can help you be “heart smart” and take action to prevent heart disease.
