February’s American Heart Month observance will soon be here so we invite you to join us for an “Our Hearts” webinar on January 14th at 2:00 p.m. ET to learn how your organization can work with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and The Heart Truth® to promote heart healthy behaviors among those you serve, your community, colleagues, friends, and family.
We know when people commit to heart-healthy activities together, such as preparing healthier foods or being more physically active, they are more likely to adopt long-term behavior changes that impact heart health. That’s why we’re continuing our theme of “Our Hearts,” which focuses on the importance of people connecting to be hearty healthy together.
During the webinar, you will learn about resources you can use as part of your outreach efforts to raise awareness about heart disease and encourage heart-healthy lifestyles in the communities you serve. You’ll also learn how you can use the “Our Hearts” map to share your organization’s events and activities with others in your community, as well as nationwide.
