NHLBI Regional Innovation Conference at New York, NY

The 2016 NHLBI Innovation Conference (NIC) was held at the SUNY Global Center in New York, NY on November 1, 2016. The conference was coordinated with the Life Sciences Summit (LSS), a leading early-stage business development conference that took place on November 2 & 3.

Seventeen NHLBI-funded companies were selected to deliver presentations at LSS. At the NIC on November 1, the companies were coached on their LSS pitches by a group of twenty experienced mentors, including investors and business executives from across the pharmaceutical, device and diagnostics sectors. The NIC also included discussions on business topics of interest to SBIR/STTR awardees and a networking reception.
