The Division of Cardiovascular Sciences supports research to advance understanding of and interventions for promoting heart and vascular health across the lifespan. It also supports research aimed at preventing and treating pediatric and adult cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and congenital heart disease.
A Health Scientist Administrator position is available in the Heart Failure and Arrhythmias Branch for doctoral trained scientists with cardiovascular disease expertise across the lifespan. Ideal candidates will have an outstanding record of research accomplishments and independent research experience with basic, translational, and/or clinical studies in cardiovascular disease with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the strong ability to develop and oversee complex research programs. Desired expertise includes, but is not limited to, heart failure, arrythmias, myocardial protection from ischemia, resuscitation science, and cardio-oncology.
