The Center for Translation Research and Implementation Science (CTRIS), NHLBI directs, plans, and supports research to identify the most effective strategies for ensuring successful integration of evidence-based interventions within clinical and public health settings, such as health centers, worksites, communities, and schools in the United States and abroad. CTRIS serves as the strategic focal point for NHLBI research that identifies and addresses the facilitators and barriers to intervention effectiveness and implementation, health inequities, and global health research. CTRIS also advances research training and career development in those areas. The core mission of CTRIS is to provide scientific and technical leadership and guidance to advance innovative and burgeoning areas of translation and implementation research related to heart, lung, blood, and sleep diseases and disorders in the United States and abroad.
CTRIS is seeking an exceptional Clinical Trials Specialist with experience in managing domestic and international clinical research and clinical trial operations, knowledge in regulatory and administrative elements of clinical studies, and familiarity with project management practices. The ideal candidate must be familiar with the role of independent monitoring entities (DSMBs, IMCs, OSMBs, CSOCs, etc.), administration and coordination of Committees/Boards, work well in a team environment and have excellent written and oral communication skills. The incumbent will provide leadership in a broad range of multifaceted activities that enable CTRIS to achieve its mission to address heart, lung, blood, and sleep diseases and disorders both globally and domestically.
