Clinical Trials Specialist- Clinical Applications and Prevention Branch

The Organization

The Division of Cardiovascular Sciences supports research to advance understanding of and interventions for promoting heart and vascular health across the lifespan. It also supports, training, and research in behavioral, environmental, clinical, and healthcare approaches to reduce or eliminate cardiovascular factors and cardiovascular disease development or progression. Research include efficacy and effectiveness prevention trials that examine the effects of wide range of physical activity, nutritional, psychosocial, pharmacological, and organization of health care interventions.

The Role

A Clinical Trials Specialist position is available within the Clinical Applications and Prevention Branch. The branch is seeking outstanding candidates with experience in the management and oversight of ethical, regulatory, and safety aspects of observational studies and clinical trials. The ideal candidate must be familiar with the role of Monitoring Boards (DSMBs/OSMBs), work well in a team environment and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
