How to get our antibodies

How to get aliquots of our antibodies for your experiments

Over the past 20 years, our research has depended on production of high quality peptide-directed antibodies to various renal transporters and channels (see Knepper et al, 2001, below). We have sent out hundreds of vials to requestors. However, the usual MTA process has been klunky and slow. To make the most popular antibodies more readily and rapidly available, we have enlisted the help of private sector entities who have agreed to distribute them. (Note that we do not endorse or recommend any specific commercial entities; users should consider all alternatives to decide what reagents are best for their experiments.) Here is how to get our antibodies (click on identifier):

Antibodies to sodium transporters and channels:

a.  Antibody L546: NHE3, sodium-hydrogen exchanger 2, Slc9a3.
b.  Antibody L224: NKCC2, bumetanide-sensitive Na-K-2Cl cotransporter, Slc12a1
c.  Antibody Q4735: NCC, thiazide-sensitive Na-Cl cotransporter, Slc12a3

d.  Antibody Q3560-2: alpha-ENaC, alpha subunit of epithelial sodium transporter, Scnn1a
e.  Antibody Q3755-2: beta-ENaC, beta subunit of epithelial sodium transporter, Scnn1b
f.   Antibody L550: gamma-ENaC, gamma subunit of epithelial sodium transporter, Scnn1g

Antibodies to urea and water channels:
a.  Antibody L194: urea channels UT-A1 and UT-A2 (recognizes both), Slc14a2
b.  Antibody K5007, aquaporin-2, Aqp2
c.  Antibody pSer261-Aqp2, aquaporin-2 phosphorylated at Ser261
d.  Antibody pSer256-Aqp2, aquaporin-2 phosphorylated at Ser256
e.  Antibody pSer264-Aqp2, aquaporin-2 phosphorylated at Ser264
f.  Antibody pSer269-Aqp2, aquaporin-2 phosphorylated at Ser269
