What happens to my grant after submission?

The Center for Scientific Review ( CSR ) is the central receipt point for all new, revised, competing continuation, and competing supplement applications submitted to the NIH whether they are unsolicited or in response to a RFA / RFP / PA . CSR Referral Officers will assign the application to a review group and an Institute based on the type of grant mechanism, the scientific focus of the application and any request by the applicant. CSR provides detailed information about the Submission and Assignment Process.
