Submissions

The Symposium Organizing Committee invites you to submit an abstract of your scientific research to be considered for an oral or poster presentation at the meeting, From Genome to Disease II: A Symposium of High Throughput Biology, July 19 –20, 2005. The deadline for submission has been extended to May 27, 2005. Notice of acceptance will be sent to authors by June 10, 2005.

Guidelines for Preparation

1. The abstract should be single-spaced and should contain a maximum of 300 words.
2. The title should be in capital letters followed by the authors names.
3. On a new line, list the authors' institution, city, and state or country.
4. The abstract must be in a word-processing format that is compatible with MS Word. Use 12 point Arial or similar font.
5. Provide 3 key words that best describe the topic or topics addressed in the abstract.

Please include at least one of the following key words:

  • Comparative Genomics
  • Animal Models
  • Sequencing and Genotyping
  • Computational Analysis
6. Prepare a cover page that includes:
• Title of the abstract
• Name, mailing address, phone and fax number of the principal author

Guidelines for Submission

To submit the abstract:

  Use an e-mail to send your abstract and the cover page to dboffelli@lbl.gov with a copy to cantileb@nhlbi.nih.gov. In the subject line, please put “Abstract for PGA Symposium.”
It must be formatted in MS Word. Please make every attempt to send your online submission from the same e-mail address where you want to receive the confirmation reply, or be sure to provide the name, phone number, and e-mail address of the designated contact person.
