The Natcher Conference Center, site of the symposium, is located on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Bethesda, Maryland, a northwest suburb of Washington, DC. By AirThe Washington, DC area is served by three major airports; Ronald Reagan National, Washington-Dulles International, and Baltimore-Washington International. Travel time from all three airports to Bethesda-area hotels and the NIH campus is approximately 1 hour. By TrainIf traveling by train, Union Station serves the Washington, DC area. It is approximately 45 minutes to Bethesda-area hotels and the NIH campus from the station. By SubwayThe Metrorail subway system serves the NIH campus via the Medical Center Station on the Red Line and is available from Reagan National Airport and Union Station. The Natcher Conference Center is within walking distance from the Medical Center Station (at the top of the station's escalators, take the stairs/ramp to your left and follow the path to the Natcher Conference Center). Ronald Reagan National Airport - From airport terminals B and C, take the pedestrian bridge to the metrorail's Reagan National Airport Station located on the Yellow and Blue Line. Take a Yellow Line train to Gallery Place or take a Blue Line train to Metro Center and transfer to the Red Line. On the Red Line, take a train toward Shady Grove to the Medical Center Station. Union Station - It is located on the Red Line. Take a train toward Shady Grove to the Medical Center Station. By CarYou are strongly encouraged to take public transportation to NIH, as visitor parking on the NIH campus is extremely limited. If you must drive, there are only a limited number of visitor spaces available. Visitor parking fees are $2 per hour or $12 per day. Please plan accordingly.
