Abstract Submissions

The symposium organizing committee invites you to submit an abstract of your scientific research to be considered for presentation during the Symposium on Phenotyping Mouse Cardiovascular Function and Development, October 10-11, 2002. The deadline for submission is August 30, 2002. Notice of acceptance will be sent to authors by September 9, 2002.

Guidelines for Preparation

1. The abstract should be single-spaced and a maximum of 300 words.
2. The title should be in Capital letters followed by the authors' names.
3. On a new line list the authors' institution, city, and state or country.
4. The abstract must be in a word processing format that is compatible with MS Word for Windows using 12 point Times Roman or similar style font.
5. Prepare a cover page that includes the
   • Title of the abstract
   • Name, mailing address, phone, and fax of the Principal author

Guidelines for Submission

Submit the abstract using one of the following methods:

Electronic: Use an e-mail to send your abstract and the cover page to curron@nhlbi.nih.gov. Please put in the subject line "Abstract for Mouse Symposium." It must be formatted in MS word for Windows or be compatible. Please make every attempt to send your online submission from the same e-mail address where you wish to receive the confirmation reply or be sure to provide the name, phone number, and e-mail address of the designated contact person.

Hard-copy: Send a hard-copy and a diskette containing the abstract in a format that is compatible with MS Word for Windows to:
