Also known as "America’s Oldest Fair," the York Fair was Country Conquers COPD’s final stop in 2012. First held in 1765, the now ten-day fair drew more than 640,000 visitors this year and broke attendance records. Perfect early fall weather attracted young and old, who came to enjoy traditional fair foods, agricultural exhibits, and comedic and musical performances by stars like Jeff Dunham, Blake Shelton and Allstar Weekend.

Located next to the Radio Stage just outside Market Hall, more than 5,200 attendees flocked to the Country Conquers COPD tent to talk to local lung health experts about COPD signs and symptoms, risk factors, and testing and treatment options. Plus, close to 400 people took advantage of the free spirometry testing provided onsite. A special thanks to the COPD Foundation, Hanover Hospital and the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care, who helped make this event a tremendous success.
