The Lung Association in New Mexico, thanks to subcontract funding from the COPD Learn More Breathe Better campaign, hosted a Country Conquers COPD booth at the 43rd Annual Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo in Las Cruces to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of COPD.

The Lung Association provided information about COPD and lung health, as well as conducted screenings for both COPD and Alpha-1. The New Mexico Department of Health also provided materials for anyone who was interested in kicking their tobacco habit at the event.
