More than 150,000 people turned out for the largest annual music festival in Kansas — Country Stampede. Festival goers enjoyed four days of camping, great food and live outdoor performances from country stars including Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley.
Over the four days of the festival, the COPD tent was buzzing. More than 6,000 people stopped by our tent for information on COPD and almost 750 were screened for COPD.
Thousands stopped by check out the Gibson Guitar Tour Bus and enter for their chance to win an acoustic Gibson guitar courtesy of this campaign supporter. We send out our special thanks to Gibson, as well as to the COPD Foundation, the Kansas Respiratory Care Society, and the many respiratory therapists and student volunteers who helped to make this event a success.
