More than 600,000 people turned out over the course of the Kentucky State Fair to enjoy a variety of entertainment from some of the hottest acts in country music: Tim McGraw, Sugarland and Rascal Flatts. Delicious Kentucky grown barbeque, the World Championship Horse Show and the Discovery Farm petting zoo all proved to be great fun for the whole family.
And on August 28th more than 2,000 of them stopped by the Country Conquers COPD booth to talk with lung health experts about early diagnosis and treatment of COPD. Many of them also took home information to share with friends and family. Plus, over 200 people received a free spirometry test thanks to the Kentucky Respiratory Disease Program, the Kentucky Department of Health and US Wellness.
