The WYCD Downtown Hoedown celebrated its 30th anniversary with a star-studded three-day country music festival. Located around Comerica Park in downtown Detroit, the festival featured performances from more than 40 of the nation's most famous country performers as well as up-and-coming country artists. More than 100,000 fans jammed out with the likes of Miranda Lambert, the Pistol Annies, Josh Gracin, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young and special guest, Detroit's own Kid Rock!

Nestled between the walkway to the two main stages, more than 4,500 music fans stopped by the Country Conquers COPD tent to learn about COPD and pick up important informational materials. Many folks were able to talk with local lung health experts, get their questions about COPD answered and find out if they or a family member could be at risk. More than 150 attendees were also able to take advantage of free spirometry testing provided by the COPD Foundation. A special thanks to the COPD Foundation, Beaumont Health Systems and members of the Michigan Society for Respiratory Care, who helped to make this event such a success.
