The Lung Association in West Virginia, thanks to subcontract funding from the COPD Learn More Breathe Better campaign, hosted a Country Conquers COPD booth at the 32nd Annual Bridge Day. The Festival, the state's largest, was all about living. Above the famous white water rafting on the New River gorge, jumpers, rappellers and thousands upon thousands of onlookers gathered for the state's biggest attraction of the year.

At the Country Conquers COPD booth, the Lung Association distributed educational materials and information about COPD to more than 800 attendees. Event attendees also had the opportunity to take a spirometry test to help gauge their lung health.
We send out our special thanks to the American Lung Association in West Virginia's Team & Volunteers, who helped make this event a success.
Country Conquers COPD Learn More Breathe Better® is an awareness campaign of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
