Virtual Heart Care Center CD ROM
This CD-Rom is designed for the lay public to take a virtual tour of a Heart Care Center. The self-guided tour takes the user into different parts of the Heart Care Center to learn about heart care from prevention to treatment of a heart attack. The Heart Care Center includes various rooms that educate those who enter, in an interactive way, about:
- How the heart works (the Living Heart);
- Creating a heart attack risk profile (Personal Profiler)
- Management of heart disease risk factors (Living Well Wing)
- Emergency department evaluation and treatment for those who are seen with a possible heart attack (Emergency Heart Care Center);
- How patients experienced their heart attack symptoms and what they did (Gallery)
- A library/media center for additional information
- A children’s loft with games
Please note that this CD ROM requires Microsoft Windows and is not compatible with MACs or other non-Windows operating systems.
