The Road Show reached thousands of women with The Heart Truth, many of whom were found to have one or more risk factors for heart disease. This Road Show was presented by NHLBI in partnership with the American College of Cardiology and Office on Women's Health (OWH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and made possible in part by the Guidant Foundation. The Washington, DC, stop was funded by OWH, DHHS.
The first Heart Truth Road Show, sponsored by NHLBI, and presented by Johnson & Johnson, traveled to shopping malls in Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego, Dallas, and Miami from March to May 2004.
