  1. Organize a local Red Dress® fashion show.

  2. Organize a Red Dress Sunday celebration or other faith-based activity at your place of worship.

  3. Partner with local beauty salons and spas to exhibit and reinforce the message that women need to take care of themselves both inside and out.

  4. Plan a Heart Truth Wear Red community walk to raise awareness of women's risk for heart disease.

  5. Organize a "Red Attire Evening" or "Red Dress Luncheon" and serve a creative menu of heart healthy foods.

  6. Organize free heart health screenings at a community venue.

  7. Ask local stores and restaurants to display National Wear Red Day® posters pdf document icon (206KB), and/or offer discounts to customers wearing red on National Wear Red Day.

  8. Ask your local library to set up a special exhibit featuring heart health materials about women and heart disease.

  9. Organize a Red Dress Seminar/Health Fair.

  10. Ask local gyms or sports clubs to distribute heart healthy materials and information.
