Cardiology Associates Foundation-Jonesboro, Arkansas
June 26-28, 2008

Cardiology Associates Foundation sponsored The Heart Truth Red Dress Exhibit, which was on display at Turtle Creek Mall, in conjunction with their Project Red Dress collection.  The Red Dress exhibit was elevated on the stage to give it higher visibility in the mall. Surrounding the base of the stage were 12 Project Red Dresses made by local designers and amateurs. The Red Dress exhibit and the Project Red Dress collection were on display for three days in the Center Court of the mall.

The Red Dress exhibit was scheduled prior to the Cardiology Associates Foundation’s Style Show at Arkansas State University.  The Style Show included a fashion show of the 12 Project Red Dresses and the announcement of the winning dresses.  At the mall, visitors were able to vote for the dress that they liked the best by donating a dollar per vote. Proceeds from the voting and the tickets to the style show went to the Cardiology Associates Foundation.  The winners of the contest, both professional and amateur, received two tickets to the Red Dress Fashion Show in New York City, vouchers towards round trip airfare, gift cards for hotel accommodations, and a one hour consultation with a fashion designer.

Cardiology Associates Foundation also provided free blood pressure screenings at the mall during exhibit hours. All visitors to the exhibit were provided with background information about Project Red Dress, The Heart Truth campaign, and the designers and celebrities who designed and wore the dresses at Fashion Week.
